Gripfit fixed frame mats are surface mounted onto the floor with an ultra low profile steel frame. The frame ensures the mat remains stationery even in areas with a lot of foot traffic. Slips and trips are reduced in comparison with loose lay matting, due to the fact the edges will not lift or curl, the mat will not slip and the edges are only 7.5mm raised off the ground.

The mat itself is a heavy duty entrance mat designed to scrape dirt and absorb moisture from shoes, buggies and wheelchairs in heavy traffic areas, such as main entrances.

We supply the mats with a fitting pack which includes the mat, frame, corners, fittings and the necessary fitting tool. Fitting the mat is simple and full instructions are provided. Double sided tape is enough to fix the frame up to 180cm (6 ft.) in length, but for larger frames we provide screws. Typical installation should take about an hour.

We can install the mat for you but there is a charge for this service. The price depends upon if the mat can be installed during normal working hours, the number of mats requiring installation and if there is any need to fill in an existing mat well.
