All mats found in our Entrance Mat section can be fitted into mat wells. Our Jaguar matting is particularly suitable because the tiles can be put together to fit any shape or size of well.
Our range of Tri-Grip Heavy Duty mats and our Logo Mats can be ordered to any size to fit bespoke sizes of mat well. Simply email sales@mats4u.co.uk with the dimensions of the well and we’ll endeavour to supply a mat to fit. Our bi-level mats are only available in the sizes displayed and can only be trimmed a very little to fit.
It is always advisable to buy a mat which is 5cm too long and 5cm too wide than you need so that you can trim the mat to the exact size of the well when it arrives. The mats can be easily trimmed using a stanley knife or sharp scissors.
What to do if your mat well is deeper than the depth of the mat:
You will need to raise the height of the mat by placing a fitted piece of wood into the well and placing the mat on top to raise it to the required height. We recommend using marine plywood for this purpose.
